Two months after Notre Dame fire: Where are the big donors? | DW News Two months since a fire tore through Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris, the first mass was held in a side chapel of the damaged monument. For safety reasons, only around 30 people; mostly priests and restoration workers, attended the mass, wearing hard hats. The Catholic faithful watched a broadcast of the mass on a religious TV channel. Many years of restoration and repair lie ahead.
