I have read the book The Handmaid’s Tale by Margaret Atwood. I knew that this show was not an easy watch but now this show is getting really disturbing. Episode 6 was may be the creepiest and darkest episode. A reminder that things might be bad in Gilead but they can get even worse. Serena and Commander Waterford have increased their efforts to get Nichole back from Canada. We see them heading to Washington D.C. We are introduced to Commander Winslow and his wife. This new place was so disturbing for the handmaids that even Aunt Lydia was in disbelief to see all the handmaids being silenced and forced to cover their mouths.
Nick’s character is getting mysterious. What do you think what is the real story of Nick?
Finally, we see yet another June and Serena face off, an intense interaction between them over Nichole. This intense interaction between them was in front of a decapitated Lincoln Memorial. Is this haunting backdrop an indication that things are going to get worse in Gilead? Is She threatening June? Thank you for watching. Please subscribe and hit the bell for more videos :)
