Robotic parts washing: FANUC America Authorized System Integrator PrimeTest Automation developed this automated parts washing system to utilize FANUC’s Paint Mate 200iA robot in an intrinsically safe washing system in all stainless steel housing. The system’s part holding fixture has a universal design for easy operator load and unload. Also included is a high pressure flammable solvent wash feature. Robotic part repositioning is available, adding system flexibility by allowing the FANUC robot to wash parts at any angle.
The system is completely self-cleaning between cycles, and features an integrated NESHAP-rated four-stage filtration system for solvent cleaning and recycling. FANUC’s Paint Mate robot is a compact solution that provides maximum performance with minimal footprint. This robot’s envelopes, speed and dexterity make it an great for for washing and coating, and its best-in-class performance is designed for operation even in hazardous environments.
