A new detached tank battalion is being shaped in Chernihiv region, northern Ukraine. The press office of North Operative Command of Ukraine's Armed Forces posted this on Facebook. The 12th Detached Tank Battalion is formed in Honcharivske village, Chernihiv region; it will be based there. The unit is to subordinate and to report to the North Operative Command. Currently, the staff are receiving vehicles and supplies. The manpower in this unit will only comprise of contract army servicemen.
