Ideal Tennis Practice / Rally Conditions

Ideal Tennis Practice / Rally Conditions

You've found some interesting tennis tip online and you would now like to work on your stroke technique and see if you can implement the new movements into your strokes.

But in what conditions should you practice? And how do we define ideal conditions?

You'll learn what is the ideal contact point height (and that's likely NOT what you have been told), what's the ideal distance from the baseline and at what speed should you rally.

I've included a few clips from Roger Federer's practice sessions so that you can see for yourself the ideas this video article suggests.

We're still on the topic of tennis fundamentals and before we address in more detail the balance, biomechanics and timing of strokes, you need to know in which conditions you should be practicing them.

I know that many of you have been told different things than what I suggest in this article so I am looking forward to your comments and feedback.
