City Council Proposal Would Ban Plastic Bags

Some city council members have tried for almost ten years to get legislation approved that would ban plastic bags. And now some are trying once again.

Councilman Bill Henry is sponsoring the measure, which would charge a five-cent fee for paper or other types of bags at checkout.
