Sanitary Pads for NPR 2 | One Tap : Twenty Three Hundred Students | NayaPusta - 600 Menstruation is still a taboo in Nepali society and girls still hesitated to talk about their monthly period. After the school installed vending machine inside the school, the students don’t have to ask for sanitary pads with their teachers anymore.

Dhamboji Secondary School, a very popular community school in Nepalgunj have more student then it's capacity. The school infrastructure cannot fulfill requirements of all the students admitted. To make situation worst, school only has one tap for its twenty three hundred students.

NayaPusta is mainstream news and current affairs programme targeted to younger viewers of 10 to 16 years old. It aims to educate and inform children, so that they are effectively prepared to understand and take part in public debate in the society. NayaPusta is broadcast 3 days a week (Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday) at 7:45 pm on Avenues TV and 8 pm on NTV Plus. The radio version of NayaPusta is broadcast by 60 plus radio station across Nepal including Radio Sagarmatha in Kathmandu.
