Marine police seize illegal cigs worth almost RM650,000

Marine police have seized 6,400 cartons of illegal cigarettes from China worth almost RM650,000 during a raid at Taman Ungku Tun Aminah in Johor Baru.

Southern Region Two commander Asst Comm Paul Khiu Khon Chiang said the raid was conducted on Saturday night, where the 33-year-old lorry driver was arrested.

128 big boxes that contained 64,000 packets white cigarettes with the brand name 'Zhongnanhai' was found in the lorry.
