Saturday - May 4,2019 Tara Holland is an American, She was dreaming to become Miss America from her childhood. In 1994 she came 2nd in Miss Florida competition, again in 1995 she came second in Miss Florida Competition. She was very much disappointed. but did not lose hope she went on to Purchase CD's of previous Miss Titles in various states of America. She used to play the videos again and again, She used to dream herself as the winner of each title.
In 1997 Tara Holland won the Miss Kansas Title, in the same year she won Miss America contest as well, One of the reporter asked her, when you were walking in the ramp 100' of people are watching the event from the stadium and millions through TV are you not nervous?. Tara Holland said she was not nervous because she walked the ramp 1000 times before. The reporter asked her this is the first time you are participating in MIss America how come you say you have walked the ramp 1000 times. Tara Holland said I watched the Miss Title videos more than 1000 times already, I imagined as if I am the winner of the Title every time, so I was not nervous.
The Reporter asked Tara Holland why did you change your venue from Florida to Kansas.
Tara Holland said I came 2nd two times in Florida, It is in back of my mind that I was always second and never first, This thought was hindering my success , so I changed my venue, Today I am a winner.
