I have used Prisma colour pencils for colouring this drawing and turpentine oil for blending. I am only teaching how to colour herein, I am not teaching blending here with turpentine oil, which I have had already covered in my previous video:
Steps to colour Dusky Skin
• Observe the kin very carefully and try to segregate the various colours in the skin.
• Dusky skin is very rich in colours, it has colours like green, orange, brown, pink, beige and teal.
• The 1st task is to segregate the dark and light colours separately.
• Then start with the primary colour as the base, for this drawing, the base was brown and green colours
• Then layer it over with the darker shades of colours.
• Thereafter blend all the colours with turpentine oil.
• Next you have to smoothen out all the colours by using the white pencil.
